We’re kicking off the new year with two public radio favorites: AirTalk's Larry Mantle in conversation with Morning Edition host Steve Inskeep. Join AirTalk on January 13 for a live broadcast as the two discuss Inskeep's life in journalism.
In addition to being one of the most popular voices to listen to while stuck in morning rush hour traffic, Inskeep cohosts the NPR podcast Up First and has earned acclaim as an author. In his latest book “Imperfect Union,” Inskeep tells the story of John and Jessie Frémont, a real-life husband-and-wife team who rose to prominence for their roles in the westward expansion in the United States and their political endeavors.
EVENT:
Steve will be talking about his new book with All Things Considered host Alisa Chang tonight at the New Roads School in Santa Monica. The Writer’s Bloc event starts at 7:30pm. You can find out more by visiting the AirTalk page.
