Lanes have opened on the 210 freeway, but eastbound traffic is still visibly affected after a crash involving two big rigs occurred near Allen Avenue Thursday.
Traffic has been snarled on the eastbound 210 freeway since 1 p.m. after one truck blew a tire and lost control, causing it to sideswipe another truck, which overturned, according to ABC 7.
The first truck ended up plowing through the center divider and onto the Gold Line.
"Both drivers were able to extricate themselves and were able to walk away from the wrecks," according to ABC.
The Associated Press reports that a fire official says two people were injured, one seriously in the accident.
Metro spokesman Luis Inzunza told KPCC the big rig "hit one of our poles that supplies power to the Gold Line."
Gold Line service has been suspended between Lake and Sierra Madre Villa stations as a result of the crash, according to Metro's blog The Source.
All Pasadena-bound trains will end at Lake Station and turn back to Los Angeles. Bus shuttles will replace train service between Lake, Allen and Sierra Madre Villa stations through close of service. Please allow extra time to travel through the affected area.
The truck is "blocking the tracks near Allen Station and has damaged parts of the tracks and the power system," Metro writes on its blog. Repairs on the tracks will begin once the accident is cleared.

Repairs to the Gold Line power pole are expected to take up to 24 hours.
