More than 100,000 students attending California schools last year had no access to arts instruction.
That's according to data released today by a statewide arts education collaborative.
The research also finds that only twelve percent of schools in the state provide the arts education required by state law.
To sort through the numbers, Take Two's A Martinez spoke with KPCC's arts education reporter Priska Neely.
